Three new ways to see your Google Drive and OneDrive are coming to Premium and Ultimate: Storage City, the Sharing Constellation and the File Age Heatmap.
The data visuals are new pictures of the scan you already have. Numbers tell you how much space you use; these show you where it sits, who can open it and when it was last touched. They are not in the app yet: they arrive with DriveNest 2.2, coming soon as an update on Google Play.
All three visuals in one short video, recorded on a OneDrive test account.

Your folders will rise as a city. Each subfolder becomes a district, and what is inside it stands there as buildings, as tall as they are large. Lit windows mark recent changes, and day and night follow your clock.
Walk in. One finger moves the city; two fingers turn, zoom and tilt it. Double-tap to step inside, and the back button walks you out again. The city and the sunburst stay in step: select a folder in one and it is selected in the other.
Four layers add something to read at a glance, each one tap from off:
Everyone you share with, as a night sky. You are at the centre, and each star is someone you share with directly. The closer and larger a star, the more of your items that person can open.
One year at a time as a grid of days, each shaded by how many files were last used or changed that day. Switch to size to see the bytes instead, and tap a day to list its files.
It follows the app’s age setting: last used by default, or last modified. OneDrive reports no views, so on OneDrive “last used” means last changed. For how DriveNest reads the age of your files, see File Age.
All three come to Premium and Ultimate, on the perpetual licence and the subscription, for Google Drive and OneDrive. On Free you will see a still preview of your own data in each one: Storage City sharp, the other two blurred.
| Visual | Premium & Ultimate | Free |
|---|---|---|
| Storage City | The full city: layers, selections and everything they open | Your own city, sharp but still. It opens where your folders first branch; you cannot move it, enter it or switch layers |
| Sharing Constellation | The full sky, with each contact’s card and items | A still, blurred view of your own sky |
| File Age Heatmap | Every year, by count or size, with each day’s files | A still, blurred view of your own grid |

No. They are drawn on your phone from the scan already stored there, which holds metadata only, never file contents. There is no DriveNest server.
